venue rental

A delay on venue rental reservations can be costly, in more ways than simply financial, and it is that overall cost we will talk about today in this article, presented to you by Tarrant Events Center, serving the Greater Fort Worth Metro area.  Call us at Tarrant Events Center at 817-996-3636 and arrange for a tour of our very flexible event hall rental.  You’ll be glad you did.

The financial cost of venue rental delay

We cannot look into a crystal ball and predict the future, but we can say, based on our knowledge of the event space rental industry, that rental prices rarely drop from year to year.  Every single day that you delay in making a venue rental reservation, you are increasing the chance that the event room rental price will rise for that particular venue.  That is just the real of it.  At a time of rapidly-rising prices, to bet against this would be foolish.

That is why, if you can find a venue rental, such as Tarrant Events Center, which takes reservations a full year in advance, it is the wise thing to do. Take advantage of that year.  Lock yourself in at the current price, and don’t run the risk of paying a higher price two months down the road.  Running that risk of delay could literally cost you and extra three, four, or five-hundred dollars due to a price increase.

Being able to make a reservation for an event center a full-year in advance is a luxury, one which will be kind to your budget.

The very real possibility of not getting the preferred date for a venue rental

Popular venues are popular for a reason, and during peak rental seasons they are rarely available.  If you are looking for a wedding venue in September, trust us when we tell you that the most popular venues will be booked far in advance.  Holiday party venues are also booked far in advance for the month of December.

The difficulties of booking incidentals for a date

And, the same problem is true for hiring decorators, caterers, and entertainment. These professionals/businesses and closely tied to the venue rental business, and usually what is true about venue rentals is also true about the related industries.  The early worm will not only get the worm, but will pay less for that worm.

The only logical option is . . .

Reserve early! We can’t say it any plainer.  Have your planning session a full year in advance of your event, decide upon a date, and then immediately, as in the next day, start hunting for event venue . . . and, once you find one, insist upon locking in on the current price, and insist upon all inclusive pricing, meaning there will be no surcharges or last-minute additions to the rental price. The good venues all offer all inclusive pricing, and you should insist upon it so you don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars in surprise charges.
