What is included in the contract?
It is our experience that the greatest problem in renting a party room rentals is the misunderstanding over what is included In the contract. READ THE CONTRACT thoroughly and ask questions about party venues. The Tarrant Events Center is what is known as a turnkey operation. We provide the basics i.e. tables, linens, chairs, audio and video equipment, WiFi, and you negotiate with other vendors for amenities like catering and entertainment. Make sure you know what you are agreeing to when signing for a party venue rental.
Cost, cost, and more cost
Event hall rental costs are usually divided into two categories: the actual rental cost and the cost of amenities. Tarrant Events Center is simply a hall rental and nothing else. It is important that you are aware of what you are renting and what is included in that rental.
How much set-up and take-down time
Tarrant Events Center allows for one-hour set-up prior to your event. Not all event centers offer the same. Make sure you inquire about this set-up and take-down time.
Inquire not only about event parking but about overflow parking. Some places to throw a party do not have overflow parking. Tarrant Events Center does! The last thing you want is for attendees to have to walk blocks to your event.
How much flexibility does a venue have? Can it be partitioned into sections? Does it have more than one room? Does it have a kitchen area or bar area? Does it have an indoor venue AND an outdoor venue? These things may not seem important and they may not be necessary, but they sure are nice to have no matter what the nature of your event/party. The more flexibility a location has, the easier your job will be in organizing and throwing a party.
