But, before you pick up the phone and call us, let’s tackle that question raised about the cost of party venues.

Party venues rental cost

Truthfully, the rental cost of party venues all depends on where you live, the Laws of Supply and Demand, and what you want in your event room rental.  It is entirely possible that you can find party venues to rent for as low as a hundred bucks, or a couple hundred bucks, for four or six hours.

It is also entirely possible that there are party venues in some of the larger cities which will rent for between $5000-$10,000 per event.  The best we can do, in answering this question, is to say there is most likely a part venue which will fit in your budget in most decent-sized cities across America.  Generally speaking, the more options there are, the better your chances of finding one for a decent price.

What is included in rental costs for party venues?

Again, this is a question which does not have a “one answer fits all.”  We can say that most party space rental agencies offer tables, chairs, some sort of sound system, and usually some sort of kitchen/finishing kitchen.  There is no industry standard with regards to what is included in the rental cost, and one of the best things you can do is shop around and visit as many of these event centers as possible before signing a rental agreement.  The more amenities included in the rental contract, the fewer secondary costs you will need to cover/pay for.

Look out for secondary costs

Who is providing the food for this party of yours?  Decorations?  Entertainment? Who will the servers be? Who is going to set-up and take-down?  Will you need to rent silverware?  Napkins?  A parking attendant?  It is these secondary costs which really jack-up the cost of hosting a party, and most, if not all, are totally dependent upon the amount of creativity you have as the party host.

Look out for surcharges and hidden costs

We wish it were not so, but we must warn you about surcharges and hidden costs, last-minute costs which can appear on your rental contract, detailing some hidden costs you were not aware of.

With that in mind, demand what is called all inclusive pricing at the time you negotiate a rental price with the rental agency.  All-inclusive pricing means the price you agree upon at the time of the signing is the final price you will pay at the time of the event.  There are no surprises with all-inclusive pricing, and in the party venue rental business, no surprises is a very good thing.
