Puppies for adoption at Sunday’s event at Tarrant Events Center in Haltom City, TX

Haltom City, Texas – August 10, 2022 – Highway Hounds is a non-profit foster-based dog and cat rescue based in Fort Worth. On Sunday, August 14, the rescue group will be at Tarrant Events Center in Haltom City holding an adoption event and dog show.

“We will have a lot of puppies from 12 weeks to about 4 months old,” said Susan “Tutti” Trammel, the founder of the organization.  “We will also have a few of our older dogs, including Buster, a joyful 7-year-old Chihuahua, that are ready for adoption,” she added.

Families are encouraged to bring their rescue dogs to the event and participate in the dog show. Prizes will be given for a variety of categories including waggiest tail, cutest eyes and best trick.

Several vendors will be set up at the event, and beer and wine will be served. All dogs available for adoption are vaccinated and microchipped. Older dogs are spade or neutered.
