What is the price of your banquet hall? That is, inevitably, the first question we are asked at Tarrant Events Center, Fort Worth. Since it is the most popular question, by far, we may as well address it in an article devoted to price and price only.
Tarrant Events Center serves the Greater Fort Worth area with our all-purpose event center. Call us at 817-996-3636 for more information and to arrange for a tour.
What does a Fort Worth banquet hall cost?
There is no easy answer to this question about industry pricing. Generally speaking, you can find banquet halls for $500 per event, and you can find them for over five-thousand dollars per event. In a city the size of Fort Worth there are, literally, dozens of event room rentals available to you.
To answer the specific question about Tarrant Events Center, our rental prices are $2000-$3000 per event, depending upon the day of the week. We do not do half-day rentals; all of our rentals are for a full day. Our price puts us in the middle of the pack; our incidentals and amenities puts us near the top, so let’s talk about those.
Remember the cost of banquet hall incidentals and amenities.
Renting a banquet hall is not just renting an event venue. Each rental comes with incidentals which may, or may not, be included in the rental price.
Included in our rental price are the following:
- Ten floor plans to choose from
- Tables and chairs
- A moveable stage
- Cordless microphones
- Two VIP rooms in addition to the main room.
- A finishing kitchen.
- Over an acre of landscaped grounds.
- State-of-the-art sound system
- Multiple big screen video monitors.
There is no extra charge for any of that, and that is an important point to understand. For many banquet halls, there are surcharges for certain amenities/incidentals. You will need to check the fine print on any rental agreement you sign.
This is why we offer an all inclusive pricing policy which states, simply, that there are no hidden fees or surcharges. We go over the contract with our clients, make sure they understand what they are getting, and what they are not getting, before they sign it.
Our suggestion for saving money.
We will break this down simply for you all. Know your budget and stick to it. Have a list of essentials you absolutely must have and compare all of the banquet halls against that list. And then adopt a DIY attitude and do as much of the prep work i.e. food preparation, decorations, entertainment, servers, yourself and with the aid of friends. There is money to be saved in planning a banquet, and being a DIY stalwart will save you thousands of dollars.
