The cost of party venues.
The first question for almost everyone looking to rent party venues is the question of cost. What does it cost to rent a party space rental? It is the logical first question since money is so important and budgets are so tight. Money is always tight, right? Saving money is always important.
Party venues, obviously, differ in rental prices. Location is usually the main factor, coupled with the amount of available party room rentals options in any city. For the sake of this article, let’s round it all off and say that party venues can cost as little as $500 per event and as much as $10,000 per event. If we had to guess, we would say the average party hall rentals cost would be in the $1000-$5000 range. We apologize for not giving a more definitive answer to this question, but prices are all over the board when it comes to party venue rentals.
Hidden cost of party venues.
Now is when this conversation gets a little tricky. Let’s set aside, for this discussion, the cost of catering and decorations and entertainment. We will save those for another article at another time. What we really want to talk about are the hidden costs and the surcharges you may not be aware of.
What is a surcharge? For the purposes of this discussion, a surcharge is defined as an additional fee or charge added to the price of goods or services, typically to cover increased costs or expenses incurred by the seller or service provider.
Are surcharges, then, legal? That depends on local and state laws. The surcharges are usually mentioned in the fine print of the rental contract and are often missed by those signing the contract. Again, if local laws allow surcharges, and if you do not read that rental agreement carefully, yes, those surcharges are legal and yes, you must pay them.
All inclusive pricing is your protection.
Which leads us to the importance of all inclusive pricing, like that offered at our own Tarrant Events Center. With regards to party venue leasing, all inclusive pricing simply means the price you agree upon when you sign the rental contract is the price you will pay. There are no hidden fees. There are no surcharges lurking in the fine print of the leasing agreement. This is, quite frankly, a money saver; in addition, it is peace of mind for anyone renting a party venue. And it becomes especially important when you are making a reservation a year in advance, thus protecting you against any rental price increases which may happen during that year.
