Seating and tables

This goes without saying, but it’s important to confirm this with the venue rental company.  Tarrant Events Center has seating for close to three-hundred people.  With tables, depending on configuration, the number will drop a bit, which is true for any venue.

WiFi

WiFi capability is a must for any corporate event.  Make sure you inquire about it, and our suggestion is you make sure you take a computer along with you to test the WiFi strength and speed.  Corporate meetings always include some sort of internet presentation, so do not overlook this one.

Audio and Video

Speakers need to speak. Powerpoint presentations need to be given.  Tarrant Events Center has a 10,000-watt sound system, and six-50” video monitors for excellent viewing no matter where you are in our venue rental.  You want equal access to the presentations by all attendees, so make sure you check on this when you look at the venues you are considering.

Parking

Parking plus overflow parking.  You do not want your attendees to have to walk a distance to the meeting.  Inclement weather could ruin the event before it gets started if your attendees are drenched from a downpour.

Food-Beverage Preparation

Food and beverages are a must for any corporate meeting.  At Tarrant Events Center we highly recommend the use of food trucks. They offer value and they offer speedy service plus options.  If, of course, you want to use a caterer, we have some area caterers we can recommend, and we have a prep kitchen they can work from.

Cross your T’s and dot your I’s

Walk through every event space rental you are considering.  Look at it closely with these suggestions in mind.  You only get one chance to get this right, so take your time, envision your corporate event in each space, imagine you are there, and imagine what your impression would be.  Then, and only then, can you choose.
