Let’s say there is an event center in, say, Fort Worth, Texas, and that event center’s national headquarters is located in Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York.
A customer comes goes into the office of that event center and rents the party venue for August 8th, three months in the future, and pays in advance the full $5,000.
Let’s follow the money. A portion of that $5,000 goes to wages for the staff in Fort Worth. A portion, of course, goes to the government in the form of taxes; what is left over, the profit, goes to the main headquarters in another city, far away from the Fort Worth local economy.

We have nothing against Los Angeles, or Chicago, or New York; it’s just that we feel that Fort Worth, the entire city, benefits more when local dollars stay local, and we believe our logic is unassailable.

We believe, and call us crazy if you want, that better service is found from local companies serving local residents. After all, the staff at an event hall rental and the local management team, lives, eats, prays, and goes to school in the same city as the clients. They may be neighbors, or share the same nursery school, or go to the same church.
Put another way, who would you rather have handling your child’s birthday party, a staff with no ties to Fort Worth, or a staff you are likely to bump into in the local grocery store?
It’s called local pride, and it’s called local responsibility, and we believe our staff at Tarrant Events Center has both of those in spades.
And that’s great news for the citizens of Fort Worth if they lease our all-purpose event venue.

Listen, we really do understand shopping with Amazon or WalMart. Those are national chains, they offer a service, or a price, which I unmatched in the business world.
