Reserve holiday party venues early.
Not all party room rentals will do what we do at Tarrant Events Center, but if they do, take advantage of it. We are talking about taking reservations a full year in advance. If you have a particular part space rental you love, and you want to make sure you get it the following year, make that reservation as early as possible and, best case scenario, twelve months in advance.
Not only will this insure that you get the place you want, when you want it, but it protects you against any price increase which may happen during that year, and that’s a win-win which saves you money.
Insist upon all inclusive pricing for holiday party venues.
What is all inclusive pricing for party venues? It is an agreement which simply says that what you agreed upon in the rental contract is the price you will pay when all is said and done. There will be no surcharges. There will be no hidden fees. This may seem like it isn’t even needed; after all, you came to an agreement, and that should be the final word, but that fine print can be costly, at times, and all inclusive pricing protects you.
We offer this at Tarrant Events Center. The question we ask is this: why doesn’t every event center offer it?
Contract early for incidentals as well.
Not only should you make your reservation a full year in advance, but immediately upon reserving your party space rental, you should then contract out for the decorations, the food, and the entertainment. Those companies are every bit as busy as event centers during the holidays, and it would be a shame if you planned a party only to find out no caterers were available, or no entertainment.
Having said all that, what we didn’t say, but which should be obvious, is the planning for any holiday party should begin a good year-and-a-half in advance. That may seem like overkill, but good pre-planning always leads to a successful event, and we don’t want you facing any major disappointments simply because you didn’t start planning early enough.
