teen birthday party places

A search of teen birthday party places can be confusing, exhausting and, quite frankly, only for the strong of heart.  It is one of those activities where most people have no experience whatsoever and that lack of experience leads to anxiety and, yes, fear. What if you don’t rent a good venue? What if you are charged too much for the event venue? What about the preparations, the decorations, the food, the entertainment?

Relax! We have a checklist for you, designed to eliminate that anxiety and make your venture much-less stressful. We are Tarrant Events Center, serving the Greater Fort Worth area with our affordable and brand-new event center. Call us at 817-996-3636 for more information and to arrange for a tour of our facility.

Now, though, let’s get to that checklist.

Groundwork to do before searching teen birthday party places.

It all begins with your vision of the perfect teen birthday party, and that means sitting down with your teen and writing out a list of items/events/activities which are deemed essential.  Listen, if you are going to do this thing, you might as well do it right, and that means planning, planning, and more planning. In fact, the planning stage should begin a full year in advance.  Most party room rentals can be reserved a year in advance, so get started on that planning as early as possible.

Now that you have your list of essentials, make a separate list of thing which may not be essential but would still be nice to have.

Finally, create a vision of what that party will look like. What should the party space rental look like?  Does it have a kitchen? A stage? Separate rooms from the main room? Video monitors? An outdoor space for roaming and stretching legs? Give this some thought because in the next step you are going to try and match that vision to an actual building.

And, finally, what is your budget?

The actual search for teen birthday party places.

Once you have established a budget, you can quickly narrow down the list of possibles based on money alone.  Party hall rentals will cost anywhere from $500 to $5000 and up, so start your search by eliminating the ones which are too expensive.  After you have done that, grab your list of possible halls and start visiting them, taking along with you your list of essentials and your vision of what that perfect party will look like.

Look at each venue with a discerning eye. Will your vision work in that venue? Does the venue have what you need to make your vision a reality?  This will take some time but it will be worth it in the end.

Narrow your list down to the Top Three.

Final step, go with your gut feeling.

Once you have a Top Three, it really is a matter of instinct.  How accommodating was the venue staff? Do they seem easy to work with? Helpful? Eager to please?  A good venue staff knows how important your event is to you, and they will go the extra mile to make your party a success.

Make the decision, and then turn your attention to the decorations, food, and entertainment, which is a whole other matter we won’t get into in this article.
