Shopping around for small wedding venues can be a stressful time. It’s one of the most important events in a person’s life, a wedding is, and it is only natural that one feels pressure in looking for a wedding venue which is absolutely perfect for such a monumental event. Add to that the fact that most people, not name Elon Musk, have a tight budget and limited funds to spend on a wedding, and the pressure can seem overwhelming at times.
We are here to help, we being Tarrant Events Center, one of Fort Worth’s newest, affordable wedding venues. We have a couple tips to help you save money and relieve the pressure you are feeling. Call us at 817-996-3636 for more information about our event center, or if you have any other questions about the process of finding a small wedding venue which matches your dream.
Small wedding venues with flexibility are worth looking at
Using our own Tarrant Events Center as an example, consider these points. We can handle between 50-300 people in our event hall rental, depending upon the floor configuration, and we have ten floor designs to choose from. That gives you some wiggle room to work with as you plan for your big event.
We also offer over one-acre of landscaped grounds outside of our event center, and this is, we believe, a huge feature worth considering. With that one acre of landscaped grounds, we offer the opportunity for clients to actually have the wedding in the event center and have the reception outside. Consider that point: for the price of one full-day rental, you actually get a wedding venue plus a reception venue. You are saving one rental by doing it the Tarrant Events Center way, and that can mean savings of several thousand dollars.
Small wedding venues amenable to DIY are worth looking at
As you well know, the rental cost of the wedding venue is only the tip of the iceberg when talking about wedding cost. There are also the cost of a caterer, the cost of decorations, and the cost of entertainment to toss into the money pit . . . but . . . what if you adopted a DIY attitude? At Tarrant Events Center, we encourage BYOB and BYOF. We have a finishing kitchen so you can keep the food you prepared fresh/warm, and we have two VIP rooms available where you can set up your own bartender to do their thing at the reception. By doing it that way, the DIY way, you again can save thousands in expenses.
And, if you really want to save money, consider this . . .
And, finally, you can take a close look at that guest list, and ask yourself if you really need five-hundred people to attend. There is a nice, warm, fuzzy feeling associated with a small, more intimate wedding. Your third-cousins, do they really need to be invited? Your fourth-grade teacher? Trim that guest list down to essential loved ones and we guarantee you will save money.
A final word about Tarrant Events Center
It may seem strange for the management of an event center to suggest ways for you to save money, but that’s just how we rock and roll at Tarrant Events Center. We want our customers to be happy with the event they are hosting. We want it to be a pleasurable experience for all, and cost is certainly an area where the pleasure is hard to come by. We have been there, done that, and if we can help you to save money, we will do it. That way your event, your small wedding, will be memorable, and perhaps you will hold us in high esteem and suggest us to your friends.
