What does your perfect birthday party look like?
Before you ever leave your home to look at an event room rental, write down what your perfect birthday party event should look like. Picture it in your mind. Go through the entire party and envision what that looks like in a perfect world, because perfect is exactly what you should be aiming for.
Now that you have a vision, write it down. That vision is your checklist as you begin your search.
What will you need for the perfect birthday party?
What do you need to make that vision a reality? Tables? Chairs? Stage? Sound system? Entertainment? Food prep area? Decorations? Parking? This “necessities” checklist should be as detailed as possible. Take your time compiling it. It will be your guiding light throughout the process of planning and executing the birthday party.
Look for flexibility in design from event space rentals
When you begin looking at birthday party venues, look for flexibility in design and layout. What do we mean by that? Using our own Tarrant Events Center as an example, we offer the following: ten floor plans, a moveable stage, indoor and outdoor event space, two VIP rooms in addition to the main room, a finishing kitchen, and ample plus overflow parking. We are ready for anything our clients can dream up, and that’s what you should be looking for. The event space should be able to transform into your vision; you shouldn’t have to alter your vision to fit into an event rental.
Do as much of the “extras” yourself
Are you interested in saving money? Do the extras yourself. Negotiate with vendors for food, for decorating, for entertainment. If you have friends who can do some of it for you, like preparing the food, or doing the photography, it’s time to ask them for a favor. You can literally save thousands of dollars with this DIY approach.
Demand all-inclusive pricing
Lock in a price at the time of the lease-signing, and make sure there are no hidden costs or last-minute additions to price. All inclusive pricing at our event center is good for one full year, and we believe that should be the industry standard.
Don’t settle for less
Birthdays are important. They are a milestone in the lifetime of a loved one. You have a vision; don’t settle for less than that vision. There are far too many event centers available for you to settle for less.
