Wedding venues range in price from $500 per rental to over $10,000 per rental, so trust us when we tell you there is something available, for your budget, if you start looking far enough in advance. We suggest you begin your search a full year in advance of the wedding and, by the way, rental fees at Tarrant Events Center range from $850 to $2500 per rental, depending upon half-day or full-day rental and the day of the week you want.  In the venue rental business, weekends always cost more than weekdays.

So, that covers the base cost of the rental, but there are other costs for you to consider.

Costs other than just the event hall rental

Let’s take a quick look at these other costs of an event hall rental you need to be aware of:

  • Entertainment
  • Food

  • Set-up and take-down
  • Decorations
  • And, finally, a reception if you are having one

It gets a bit tricky when calculating these costs. Some event room rentals include some of these items in their rental contract, thus increasing the cost of your wedding.  They will find you a decorator and then charge you a fee to find that decorator.  Some wedding venues contract out for any food you might plan on having.

Keep in mind, too, that some wedding venues do not have the facilities for a reception, so you’ll have to rent a separate venue for the reception.  Or, if they do have the facility for both the wedding and reception, they will charge you for two rentals, even though both events are being held in the same building.

We offer include basics like chairs, tables, microphones, movable stage, audio and video equipment, full kitchen, two VIP rooms, but we do not offer catering, decorating, bartending, or entertainment. We simply rent the venue and leave those other services for you to attend to.  Yes, that means a bit more work for you, but it also means you can negotiate with vendors to find the absolute best price, a price which will fit into your budget and not put you in debt.
