Event venue money-saving Tip #1
What is the average cost of renting an events center in Fort Worth? We get that question all the time, and there is no easy answer. Some places offer an event room rental by the half-day, or the full-day, so that greatly skews any discussion about average costs. We can tell you that the cost of an event space rental will range from about $1000-$10,000, depending upon the day of the week, the time of the year, and the length of the rental. For example, our own Tarrant Events Center rents for between $2000-$3000, which puts us a bit lower than the average.
We mention all of this because some event centers, like our own, take reservations a full year in advance, and the smart renter will take advantage of that opportunity. Why is it smart? Let’s say you rent from us on January 10th for an event happening in December. Your rental cost is $2500 at the time of you signing the contract. Now, what if we raise our prices in July by $500? We aren’t saying we are going to, but if we did, you would have saved $500 by reserving early.
Event venue money-saving Tip #2
Our second tip: adopt and embrace a DIY attitude. You would be amazed how much money it costs to run an event. Not only do you pay for the event space rental, but you also pay for entertainment, for food, for beverages, for decorations, and for set-up and take down.
You can literally save thousands by doing all of that yourself, or you and a team of friends, or enlisting family . . . anything other than paying for professionals to do all of those things.
Event Center money-saving Tip #3
Tip #3: insist upon all-inclusive pricing when you rent an event hall rental. What is all-inclusive pricing? It means, simply, that there will be no hidden fees, no last-minute surcharges, and no nasty surprises which always seem to happen at some establishments.
By the way, at Tarrant Events Center, all-inclusive pricing has always been a policy, and always will be a policy. Why? Because we believe reputable establishments do things in a reputable manner, and there is nothing reputable about hidden fees.
