How large are small wedding venues?
The term “small wedding venues” generally refers to the number of people which can legally be allowed in the building at any one time. This is a fire code safety situation; it differs from city to city, but no matter where you are located, you will find the fire regulations limiting the size of all event venues.
Tarrant Events Center is 5,000 square feet of indoor space with an additional acre of landscaped grounds. We can accommodate small gatherings of fifty, or larger gatherings of three hundred, depending upon our seating arrangements/floor plan choice.
Are we a small wedding venue? That would be in the eye of the beholder, we think. There is no easy answer to that question. If you have a wedding party of five hundred then yes, we are too small. If your wedding party is one hundred, we have more than enough room for you.
What extras can you expect from small wedding venues?
It is our professional opinion, and our philosophy, that you should expect the same number of extra amenities from small venues as you expect from large venues. In fact, we know of small venues which offer a much better rental package than some larger venues we know of. It is all about the philosophy of the managing firm.
