No, all small banquet halls are not the same.

You would probably be amazed at the wide variety of small banquet halls available to the public, especially in a large city like our own Fort Worth, Texas.

They may look similar upon first glance. They all have a main dining room. They all have tables and chairs.  There will oftentimes be a stage area where main speakers can speak from.  And that is where the similarities end.

The price of small banquet halls is not the most important factor.

Prices for small banquet halls are varied.  It is quite possible to find some in the $500-$1000 per event cost range.  Many are in the $2000-$5000 range, and then there are the very few which will ask for an exorbitant leasing fee approaching $10,000 or more, but those are usually just found in very large cities and very exclusive areas within those cities.

Having said all of that, the price you pay will be dictated by the budget you have for your event.  If you only have $1000 budgeted for an event room rental, you can find a suitable banquet hall. If your budget is $3000, your options will increase.

Once that budget has been established, and you have narrowed down the possible event hall rentals for you to look at, it then becomes time to consider what we believe is the most important criteria when renting a banquet hall.

Consider this fact: everyone’s vision of the perfect banquet is different.  No two “visions of the perfect event” are the same.  Now consider that no event center can be everything for everyone.  In other words, no event center can perfectly match the visions of all customers.

We mention all of that to point out that the most important criteria you should be looking for is flexibility in design.

What do we mean by flexibility in design?

We will use our own Tarrant Events Center for an example.  We have ten floor plans available to the public. We have two VIP rooms in addition to the main room. We have a moveable stage. We have six large video screens for great viewing no matter where you are seated. We have a finishing kitchen.  And we have over an acre of landscaped grounds in addition to our main event room.

What this means, of course, is that our facility has the flexibility to alter its design to fit the vision of more customers, and that means we are very capable of pleasing more customers because of our chameleon design.

And that is what you should be looking for as you begin your search of small banquet halls.
