Affordable wedding venues for which income bracket?
Therein lies the problem. Affordable for whom? How rich do you have to be before wedding venues are considered affordable? And trust us when we tell you that event centers realize this problem, and that is why so few of them actually post their rental price on their websites. They are afraid that once potential clients see what the rental cost actually is, they will move on to the next event space rental on the list.
By the way, we don’t do that at Tarrant Events Center. We post our price, easy to find, $2000-$3000 depending upon the day. Why do we buck the trend and post our price? Because it is a fair price, and we would much rather be open with our clients at the very beginning than follow more devious business practices.
That’s just us and why we do what we do. We can’t speak for other wedding venues.
Affordable wedding venues is only part of the story, and a bit misleading.
What the average person does not understand is what is included in that affordable wedding venues price, and what other expenses will be tacked on before the event actually happens. Read any of our articles about the cost of renting an event hall rental, and you will find we spell out what the total expenses will be, or at least what you can expect to face when planning a wedding. We have nothing to hide. We have nothing to do with entertainment, decorations, or food; we don’t even recommend professionals who do that. In fact, we recommend that our clients take on a DIY attitude to save money.
Again, that’s just us! Our motivation is to be open and honest from the very first handshake.
Our approach at Tarrant Events Center.
Have you ever heard of all-inclusive pricing? It is a policy of ours at Tarrant Events Center, and it simply says there will be no surcharges of hidden fees. What you agree upon at the time of the contract signing is, in fact, the total price you will pay when all is said and done. We do not believe in nickel-and-dime tactics. We believe in being upfront and forthright.
And one other thing: We encourage our clients to make their reservations a full year in advance, and we tell them it is a great way to protect against possible rate increases during that year. Again, open and honest. We would rather make a little bit less one time, and then get repeat business, than gouge pricing and never see a client again.
