Not all special event venues offer the same thing.
It is a common misconception that all event centers offer the same thing with regards to amenities. That simply is not the case and, as you can imagine, it causes quite a bit of confusion for customers. The differences in amenities offered is staggering, and clients really must do their research to know exactly what they are renting.
For example, our own Tarrant Events Center offers ten floor plans to choose from. Many event centers only offer one. Our own Tarrant Events Center has a finishing kitchen. Some event centers have none. VIP rooms in addition to the main room? A stage? Audio and video equipment? Linens?
The point is this: you must know what it is you are renting other than the building, and the only way to know that is to hitch up your sleeves, visit as many places as you can, and compare, compare, and compare.
Not all special event venues take reservations far in advance.
Our own Tarrant Events Center takes reservations a full-year in advance. Not all event centers do that. We believe it is a huge advantage to do so. It not only assures you that you will have a location for next year’s event, but it also locks you in at this year’s price, thus avoiding any price increase which may happen over the next year.
This is standard procedure for us at Tarrant Events Center and, quite frankly, we have to ask ourselves why other establishments don’t follow suit with the same reservation policy? Why would they not offer that service? What possible purpose would they have for not making this available to clients?
Not all event centers offer all-inclusive pricing.
All-inclusive pricing is a policy that most event venue renters have never heard of, but it is a policy which can save them hundreds of dollars. All-inclusive pricing simply means that there will be no surcharges and not last-minute surprise costs. It means the price you contracted for is the price you will pay.
It is, in fact, a price guarantee, and in our professional opinion, reputable establishments should always offer this pricing policy. Stated differently, why wouldn’t they offer all-inclusive pricing?
