What you should expect from wedding venue rental
Please take note that what we are about to tell you is our opinion at Tarrant Events Center. We believe the following are the very least you should expect from any wedding venue in any city.
All-inclusive pricing
You don’t need any surprises when it comes to pricing. Weddings are expensive on the best of days, and you sure don’t need the venue management telling you, at the last minute, that you owe a certain amount for a fee you were not aware of. At Tarrant Events Center, we believe in being up-front about the rental fee. When you sign the reservation contract, the price you owe will be made known to you at that time, and that is the only price you will pay, for the venue rental, all the way through to the conclusion of the wedding.
Professional and helpful service
Weddings are stressful. We know that at Tarrant Events Center, and so we treat each client with a helpful, friendly attitude. Truthfully, this is the very least you should expect from an event hall rental management team.
All details spelled out in the contract
The rental contract should be clear, precise, and contain no surprises. Exactly what you are getting for the rental fee (tables, chairs, etc) should be clearl8 spelled out in the contract. In other words, you should know exactly what you are getting for your rental fee, and exactly what you are not getting.
Amenities you should look for from wedding venue rental
Above all else, you should look for flexibility in a wedding venue. For example, Tarrant Events Center offers ten floor plans to choose from. We have a moveable stage for your convenience. We even have over an acre of landscaped property which is part of the wedding rental, which gives you the option of having the reception at the same location as the wedding, a major convenience for the wedding party and the guests.
You should, at a bare minimum, expect a clean space, but you should not expect food preparation, decoration, entertainment, or set-up and take-down as part of the rental package. Those things are usually handled by the wedding planners and not the venue rental.
The price you can expect to pay
There is no way to answer this question. Wedding venues range in price from $500-$10,000. Set your budget and then find one which fits that budget. And we strongly suggest you begin your venue search a full year in advance. It truly does take that long to find a venue and plan the wedding and reception.
