This super-popular wedding venue in Haltom City is a favorite for spring weddings

You have all heard the old saying that knowledge is power, and that is definitely true with regards to renting wedding venues.  The more you know the better the chance that you will make an informed decision.  Hopefully this article will arm you with information you need when you begin searching for an affordable wedding venues. We are Tarrant Events Center, serving the Greater Fort Worth area, so we know a thing or two about renting wedding venues. Call us at 817-996-3636 for information about renting our event space rental.

But now, let’s talk about the unspoken regarding renting wedding venues.

Not all wedding venues offer all-inclusive pricing

Tarrant Events Center offers all-inclusive pricing, but that is not true of all wedding venues.  What is all-inclusive pricing? It is our guarantee that the price you agree upon when signing the rental contract is the actual price you will pay. There are no hidden fees. There are no last-minute surcharges.  We are upfront and quite honest with our customers regarding the total price they will pay for our brand new, high-quality event hall rental.

Not all wedding venues allow you to choose vendors

Quite a few wedding venues require that you work with a list of vendors they provide you for food, decorations, entertainment, and even set-up/take-down.  Why do they do that? Because they then get a “kick back” from those vendors.  At Tarrant Events Center, we do not do this. We have no desire to be the middle man in these transactions.  We believe you can save money by providing the food yourself, and you can save money by finding entertainment and decorators yourself. Weddings are expensive.  You don’t need our surcharges added to the expense.

Not all wedding venues offer flexibility in design

Tarrant Events Center offers ten floor plans and a moveable stage.  This is not the norm in this service industry.  Many wedding venues have only one floor plan and do not offer flexibility when setting up for the event. This may not be important to you, or it may be very important, but we suggest you always rent a venue which offers you flexibility.

Read the fine print with regards to insurance

Is there insurance at the wedding venue, and what does it cover with regards to your event?  You need to find this out.  You also need to call your own insurance agent and ask this same question.  Do not assume when it comes to insurance. Assumptions can be very costly.

Make sure you know what is provided with the rental

What is included in the rental?  Tables? Chairs? Linens?  Audio and video equipment?  Monitors?  How long do you have to set up? How long do you have to take down? What is the cancellation fee?  These are the minutiae of renting wedding venues, the small print and fine details which are a part of any rental transaction.  Make sure you know the answers to all of those questions.

Information is power in any transaction, and it can also save you money.  Start your search early to make sure you find the wedding venue which is right for you.
