It sounds illogical, doesn’t it, holding large weddings at small wedding venues? There are fire codes to consider, and zoning matters to consider, and those are usually as immovable as a granite boulder.

Small wedding venues have restrictions, for sure.

As mentioned earlier, there are restrictions when you lease a small event space rental.  The local fire codes will limit the number of people who can be inside venues at any given time. There are also health restrictions, set by the Health Department, regarding the number of rest rooms per attendees.

To be sure, those restrictions are not negotiable.  The Fire Department will not suddenly lift the restrictions so you can have a full compliment of guests at your wedding. Real life does not work that way and never will.

So, what to do?

Small wedding venues need room to roam.

May we suggest an outdoor wedding, at one of the many outdoor wedding venues available to you?  Generally, there are fewer restrictions for outdoor venues as opposed to indoor venues.  You will need to check on your local area, of course, but this is generally a solution which works in most areas.

At Tarrant Events Center, we believe we offer the best of all worlds, with our indoor event room rental plus a full acre of landscaped grounds.  This allows a client to have a larger wedding outside, with the indoors only used for changing rooms and rest rooms.

The key, here, is flexibility of design, and we believe we have nailed that key with our venue design.  Of course, if you do not live in Fort Worth, we are not available to you, but chances are great that you can find a similar venue in your area.

Save money, keep everyone happy.

The bonus, of course, is that smaller venues generally cost less money, so you really have the best of both worlds, a smaller venue, which costs less, but which can accommodate a larger crowd of attendees.  Absolutely everyone is happy with that outcome.

What can you expect to pay for a venue like our own Tarrant Events Center? Our prices range from $2000-$3000 per event, depending upon the day of the week.  We find that price range is about average, or slightly below average, but that depends solely on the area you live.
