party venues

Who out there isn’t interested in party room rentals money saving tips?  If you can save a few bucks, or a great amount of bucks, why not save, right?  In this article, we are going to show you how, with a little creativity, and an ounce of “elbow grease,” your anticipated party space rental adventure will not cost you nearly as much as you thought it would.

We are Tarrant Events Center, serving the Greater Fort Worth area with our quality party room rental/event center. Call us at 817-996-3636 for more information about our event space rental, our long list of amenities, and our all inclusive pricing program.

And, now for those money-saving tips we promised!

How large do you need?

Why pay for a larger party venue rental than you need?  That may seem like a very logical question, but you would be surprised by how many people rent a party room rental which holds 500 people, when they will only have 200 attend their party.

And, nine times out of ten, you will be paying extra for that larger party venue.

Party venues come in a variety of sizes.  Find one, and pay for one, which fits your needs.  If money is truly an issue for you, paying for empty, unused space is just plain silly.

Cut costs with DYI approach

This is the greatest tip we can give you regarding saving money.  Adopt a DYI attitude, and provide for yourself.  Why pay a caterer to prepare the food for the party? Why pay for a decorator? Why pay for entertainment? Why pay for set-up and take-down? Oftentimes, the cost of those secondary concerns will add up to be more than the cost of the party venue.

Is it a little extra work? Of course it is, but it can also mean savings in the hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars, and to our way of thinking, those kinds of savings are worth a little extra work.

Warning:  Some party venues will try to get you to contract for a list of their preferred caterers, or their preferred party decorators. Walk away from such contracts.  You not only are going to pay inflated prices for the food or decorations, but you are going to pay a “middle man” fee to the party venue management team.

Money wasted is money never returned!

Try to negotiate

We are not claiming that every event center will negotiate price with you. What we are claiming is that it doesn’t cost you a penny to try to negotiate some of the charges/costs.  If you are trying to rent an event center during a particularly slow time of year, the party venue management might be eager to rent at a lower price.

It’s worth asking about, isn’t it? It costs you nothing to try.
