The larger the area you search, the better your chances of finding something which is affordable for you – but then how far is too far to travel for a wedding venue? You have to keep the attendees in mind. For our venue rental, our “near me” is pretty much all of Tarrant County. We handle weddings for people from Fort Worth, of course, but also Watauga, Irving, North Richland Hills, Grapevine, and all sites in-between. Since you can get from one border of Tarrant County to the next in 20-30 minutes of driving, that is not too excessive for most people going to a wedding, and our very reasonable price makes it worth the effort for our clients.

The cost of the venue rental
Wedding venues cost anywhere between $500-$10,000 and more, so now is the time to plan your budget and decide what you can afford for cheap wedding venues. Also keep in mind that many venue rentals price fluctuate depending upon the season. The prime wedding season is May-June, so many venues raise their price during those two months.
The added cost of amenities
Now we get to the nitty-gritty regarding wedding venues, the cost of the “extras.” Are you planning on music? Are you planning on having food at the wedding site? Are you planning on music and decorations? Read the contract closely because some venues will charge you extra for amenities which you can find cheaper from another source.
Take Tarrant Events Center for an example – we simply rent our venue. We don’t dabble in food or bartending or music. We have a finished kitchen at our venue, and we have room for a bartender or live music, but we don’t get involved in renting those things. We can give you recommendations for caterers; we can recommend some quality food trucks; and we can recommend local musicians, DJ’s, and decorators. But we leave those negotiations up to you, and that way you can save money in the process.
